Hello there!

I've been wanting to start a blog for well over a year now. I'm a pretty good procrastinator, I guess? I'm a single girl here in Hawaii. I teach 2nd grade and have a mortgage. I love all all things in the domestic realm. That fact alone sets me apart from a lot of my collegues, younger and older. When I'm not working, you can find me trolling the thrift stores or curbside shopping for treasures to use to decorate my little space in this world. I also cook, sew, and redo furniture when I have time. Now that I have the "first post" under my belt, I hope to post more about my adventures in home economics! Aloha, Surfergirl
